# Plans and the free trial

**In short:** Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, once per account, with no card needed to start. Plans are month to month. Calls keep being answered past your included minutes; extra minutes go on your next invoice.

## The plans

Plans are month to month, and you can cancel any time. Prices are in US dollars, before applicable taxes. See everything each plan includes on the [pricing page](/pricing).

## How AI minutes work

- Only your AI receptionist's part of a call counts.
- Each call is rounded up to the next minute on its own. A 61-second call is 2 minutes.
- Calls that go straight to a person or your own phone don't use AI minutes. Test calls during signup never count.
- Unused minutes don't roll over.
- Past your included minutes, calls keep being answered. Extra minutes are added to your next invoice.

## The free trial

- 14 days, once per account. An account that has had a plan before pays from day one.
- No card needed to start. You add a card when you are ready to forward your calls. [Go live](/help/getting-started/go-live-add-a-card).
- The trial includes your plan's AI minutes and one Vocenya number. GH Live agents unlock on a paid plan.
- We warn you when you have used 80% of the trial minutes. Once they are used up, calls skip the AI until your plan starts. If you set a number for "While the AI is paused" in the Vocenya app, that number rings instead.

## When the trial ends

We email you 3 days before.

- **With a card on file**, your plan starts and your card is charged for the first month.
- **Without a card**, the trial simply ends and you pay nothing. Your receptionist stops answering, and your Vocenya number is held for 7 days, then released.

To start your plan early, open **Billing** and tap **Start my plan now**.

## Changing plans

To move to a different plan, contact us at info@gh-businesssolutions.com and we will switch it for you.



## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a card for the free trial?

No. You start the trial without a card and add one when you are ready to forward your business calls to Vocenya.

### Can I get a second free trial?

No. The free trial is once per account.

### What happens if I go over my minutes?

Calls keep being answered. Extra minutes are billed at your plan’s rate on your next invoice.
