Notion

Add a row to a Notion database for every new lead, completed call and booking, filling the columns you choose.

The Notion integration keeps a database in your Notion workspace up to date: each new lead, completed call or booking adds a row. An account owner sets it up in the portal; no code is needed.

Set it up

  1. In Notion, create the database you want rows in (or use an existing one). Useful columns are a title, a select for the event, text for the name and the reason or summary, a phone number, an email, a date and a URL.
  2. In Vocenya, open Integrations and click Connect Notion under Team apps.
  3. On Notion's screen, pick the pages and databases to share with Vocenya. Include your database.
  4. Back on the Integrations page, choose the database, map each Vocenya field to a column (or leave it as "Don't fill"), pick the events and Save.

Vocenya checks the mapping when you save: a column can only hold matching data (a date in a date column, a phone number in a phone or text column).

HIPAA mode

Notion is not available to HIPAA-mode accounts. A Notion row is only useful with the caller's details in it, and those are protected health information. If you turn on HIPAA mode after connecting Notion, Vocenya stops adding rows straight away.

Troubleshooting

  • "Vocenya cannot add rows to the chosen Notion database": the database was deleted, unshared, or a mapped column was removed or changed type. Share it again from the database's ••• menu under Connections, or pick it again and check the mapping, then save.
  • A database is missing from the list: share it with Vocenya from Notion's ••• menu under Connections, then refresh the Integrations page.
  • Disconnect on the Integrations page deletes Vocenya's access token. To remove Vocenya from Notion too, open Notion's Settings > Connections.
