Outbound lead qualification with AI calls, only to people who asked

Vocenya’s outbound lead qualification has your AI receptionist call people who asked to hear from you: a web form filled in a minute ago, or a list of past inquiries who gave consent. It confirms what they need, answers questions, collects your details and books the next step. Consent is recorded, calls stay between 8am and 8pm local time, and anyone who says stop is never called again.

  • Within moments

On the Pro plan, new web inquiries get a call back while they are still interested, day or night, within calling hours.

  • Consent first

Your form’s consent wording is saved with every lead, and campaign contacts carry a consent record.

  • Stop means stop

Say stop on a call and the number goes on your Do Not Call list for good, and every consent is revoked.

What is outbound lead qualification?

Outbound lead qualification means calling new or past inquiries to find out what they need and whether they are ready to move forward. Vocenya has your AI receptionist make those calls for you, using the same knowledge of your business it uses to answer the phone.

It handles two kinds of calls:

  • Speed-to-lead: someone fills in the form on your website, ticks the consent box, and the AI calls them back within moments (Pro plan).
  • Follow-up campaigns: you upload a list of contacts who gave consent, such as last month’s quote requests, and the AI works through it at the pace you set.

Each call opens by naming your business and saying it is your virtual assistant. Always, whatever your setting for incoming calls.

Which calling rules are built in?

These apply to every outbound call, and you cannot switch them off:

Rule What Vocenya does
Calling hours 8am to 8pm in the person’s local time, worked out from their number. If the time zone is unclear, only hours that are 8am to 8pm everywhere in the US.
Attempts No more than 3 calls to a number in any 24 hours, and never two at once.
Do Not Call Every number is checked first against people who asked not to be called, numbers you add, and national registry entries our team loads.
Opt-out on the call If someone asks not to be called again, the AI confirms, adds them to your Do Not Call list and ends the call.
AI disclosure The first sentence names your business and says it is a virtual assistant.

People who asked not to be called cannot be removed from the list, by you or by us. US numbers only.

What happens on a qualification call?

Say a homeowner in Bergen County asks for a kitchen remodel quote at 8:15pm. A minute later their phone rings: "Hi, this is the virtual assistant for Summit Remodeling, calling about the quote request you just sent. Is now a good time?"

If it is, the AI confirms the project, answers questions about your services and area, collects the details you need, and books an estimate visit into your calendar. If it is not a good time, it offers to have your team call back later, and the same goes for anyone who would rather talk to a person.

When voicemail picks up, you choose what happens: leave a short message, hang up and try again later, or just hang up.

You get a summary of every call, and each campaign contact shows where it stands: pending, scheduled, called, completed, skipped or blocked.

Are call outcomes and lead scores tracked?

Every outbound call has a status, such as completed, no answer or voicemail, plus a summary of what was said. Automatic call outcomes (like "interested" or "not a fit") and lead scores are coming soon. Until then, the summary and the details the AI collected tell you who to call first.

Which plan includes outbound lead qualification?

Speed-to-lead calling is part of the Pro plan ($499/mo, 2,500 AI minutes). Follow-up and appointment reminder campaigns run on voice plans once you accept the outbound calling terms. Outbound calling is not available in HIPAA mode, except for appointment reminders.

Every plan has a 14-day free trial, there is no contract, and you can cancel any time. For the full picture of outbound calling, including appointment reminder calls, see AI outbound calling.

Questions

Does the AI call people who never asked to be contacted?

No. Speed-to-lead only calls people who submitted your form with its consent box, and campaign contacts must have a consent record. Before every call, Vocenya checks that consent covering AI voice calls is on file and that the number is not on a Do Not Call list.

What hours does it call?

Only between 8am and 8pm in the person’s local time, worked out from their phone number. If the time zone is unclear, it only calls when it is 8am to 8pm everywhere in the US. No more than 3 attempts in 24 hours.

What if someone says to stop calling?

The AI confirms, adds the number to your Do Not Call list and ends the call. Every consent that person gave your business is revoked, and the number cannot be taken off the list.

Does the caller know it is an AI?

Yes. Every outbound call opens by naming your business and saying it is your virtual assistant, whatever you chose for incoming calls. If the person would rather talk to someone, it offers to have your team call them back.

Can it score leads or tag call outcomes?

Each call has a status and a summary today. Automatic outcomes and lead scores are coming soon.
