Vocenya

Hear it before you go live

Updated

In short

During signup, Vocenya can call your mobile so you hear your receptionist answer as your business. Test calls are free, last up to 3 minutes and are never saved or sent anywhere.

The best way to know your receptionist is ready is to call it. Vocenya gives you test calls during signup, right after you review your receptionist.

How a test call works

  1. On the Test step, enter your mobile number.
  2. Tick the box to agree that Vocenya may call you with an AI voice for this test.
  3. Tap Call me now. Your phone rings, and your receptionist answers as your business.
  4. Play a customer. Ask about prices, hours or booking. Try a hard question too.

If Vocenya offers it, you can also talk to your receptionist in your browser instead of on your phone.

Limits

  • You get 5 test calls before your paid plan starts.
  • Each test call ends after 3 minutes.
  • Test calls go to US and Canadian mobile numbers.
  • Calls are only placed between 8 AM and 8 PM where your phone is.
  • After a test call is answered, later test calls ring that same number.

Test calls are never billed and never count toward your minutes. They are not saved, and they are not sent to your CRM, Slack or anywhere else.

Didn't like an answer?

Tap Tweak answers to go back and change your receptionist. Then test again. You can also skip the test and continue.

Testing after signup

Once your Vocenya number is set up, call it from any phone. Your receptionist answers it right away, before you forward your business number. Changes you make on the Receptionist page apply to the next call.
