How to forward calls on Comcast Business to Vocenya

From your Comcast Business phone, dial *72, then your 10-digit Vocenya number, and press call. Wait for the confirmation, then hang up. Dial *73 to stop forwarding.

Forwarding sends the calls to your Comcast Business business number on to your Vocenya number. Your AI receptionist answers them. Callers keep dialing the number they already know.
On a Comcast Business line you turn forwarding on by dialing a short code and your Vocenya number from a phone on that line.
Before you start
- Find your Vocenya number. It is on your Overview page in Vocenya.
- Add a card in Billing if you haven't yet. The forwarding steps in Vocenya appear once a card is on file. Why.
- Have another phone nearby for the test at the end.

From your business phone, dial this code and press call. Wait for the confirmation tone or message, then hang up. On some business lines you press # after the number.

Tap "Test my forwarding", or call your business number from another phone. Your Vocenya receptionist should answer.
Turn off forwarding
To undo: Dial *73 to stop forwarding.
If it doesn't work
If the code is refused, call Comcast Business support and ask them to turn on call forwarding for your line. Then check that forwarding works.
