How to forward calls on T-Mobile to Vocenya

From your T-Mobile phone, dial **21*1, then your 10-digit Vocenya number, then #, and press call. Wait for the confirmation, then hang up. Dial ##21# to stop forwarding.

Forwarding sends the calls to your T-Mobile business number on to your Vocenya number. Your AI receptionist answers them. Callers keep dialing the number they already know.

On T-Mobile you turn forwarding on by dialing a short code from the phone that has your business number.

Before you start

  • Find your Vocenya number. It is on your Overview page in Vocenya.
  • Add a card in Billing if you haven't yet. The forwarding steps in Vocenya appear once a card is on file. Why.
  • Have another phone nearby for the test at the end.

Type it once and the codes below fill in, ready to copy. It is on the Overview page in Vocenya. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere.

Turn on forwarding

  1. Turn on forwarding

    From your business phone, dial this code and press call. Wait for the confirmation tone or message, then hang up.

  2. Test it

    Tap "Test my forwarding", or call your business number from another phone. Your Vocenya receptionist should answer.

Turn off forwarding

To undo: Dial ##21# to stop forwarding.

If it doesn't work

If the code is refused, call T-Mobile business support and ask them to turn on forwarding of all calls for your line. Then check that forwarding works.

Do I lose my T-Mobile number if I forward it?

No. Your number stays with T-Mobile. Forwarding only sends its calls on to Vocenya, and you can turn it off any time.

Who pays for the forwarded calls?

Your phone company may charge for forwarded calls depending on your plan with them. Check with T-Mobile if you are unsure.
